We realized that the problem wasn’t the lack of designs.

When we decided to start NYA, we made one thing clear to ourselves:
We would never sell anything we wouldn’t confidently wear ourselves.
We are not manufacturers — and we don’t claim to be. Instead, we work closely with selected vendors and suppliers, carefully sourcing jewelry that meets our standards of finish, durability, and wearability.
But sourcing alone isn’t enough.
Every piece that reaches us goes through a rigorous evaluation process before it ever appears on our website.
How We Test Every Piece
Once we procure jewelry from a vendor, the real work begins.
We personally test each product in real-life conditions, including:
Water exposure tests – select pieces are kept in water to observe changes in color or finish
Air exposure tests – jewelry is left exposed to open air to check for early signs of tarnishing
Extended wear tests – pieces are worn for long durations to understand how they perform with daily use
Visual and finish checks – stones, polish, clasps, and overall comfort are closely examined
If a product shows signs of dullness, discoloration, discomfort, or fails to meet our expectations — it doesn’t move forward.
No compromises.
Quality Approved or Rejected — That Simple
Only jewelry that passes every test earns its place at NYA.
If a piece doesn’t meet our standards, we reject it — even if it means rejecting an entire vendor. We would rather offer fewer products than sell something we don’t believe in.
